For instance, this writer has gone on short getaways offered by American Airlines. One of the quick trips had airfare plus 4 days and 3 nights at the Stratosphere for a very low price of 39 dollars a night. It was essentially the cost of the airfare itself, and since we had a number of AA Advantage Points the trip was virutally free. This package included breakfast and dinner coupons. A current American Airlines promotion package which is really a good deal includes travel for two to the Venetian. The Venetian is a really beautiful casino hotel that looks like the city of Venice. It is complete with a gondola ride to give you the feel of being in this beautiful and idyllic city. A friend of mine went on this adventure and found it to be an excellent bargain, because not only did they experience the elegance and sophistication of the Venetian, but they also were able to pay for their trip using airline miles.
Another trip that this writer has first hand knowledge of was a stay at the Luxor in Las Vegas. The Luxor Egyptian getaway had first deluxe accommodations plus breakfast and dinner daily.

This included reduced priced lodging for a 4 day 3 night package as well as, gondola rides for the happy couple.
